Highview Business Association

The Highview Business Association is located in Highview, Kentucky in south eastern Jefferson County. Our Mission Statement is: Working together as a community, we facilitate the growth of existing businesses, foster the establishment of new ones, and strive to create a climate of prosperity for all.

"Things Are Hoppin' in Highview"

The Association consists of area businesses, civic leaders and individuals. They represent the local area and strive to collectively, maintain, enhance and foresee the needs of the business community and the people they serve.

Highview is located in between the Okolona and Fern Creek communities of Louisville, Kentucky. Like Okolona and Fern Creek, Highview began to thrive in the 1950s and 1960s, quickly becoming populated with suburban neighborhoods, schools and businesses. Highview also co-exists with Springmill and Hollow Creek, which are a part of Highview in itself as a whole. In 1969 there needed to be a high school in the Highview area. As building began the school was originally going to be named Highview High School; it was quickly changed and renamed Marion C. Moore High School after Marion C. Moore, one of the four original counselors in the Jefferson County schools and also a former teacher and principal.
